Digital Publishing case study

Client: Ana Liffey Drug Project, Dublin

Brief: The Ana Liffey Drug Project (ALDP) is a progressive agency which works with people who are experiencing drug addiction to minimise the harm that problematic drug use causes them, their families and the wider community. The ALDP wanted to use the publication of their Annual Report to present themselves to key stakeholders as a forward-thinking, innovative organisation with strong branding and identity.

Key objectives: to use technology to reinforce their positioning as a progressive agency; to extend the reach of their annual report both within Ireland and internationally; not to compromise on graphic design, which should meet the highest standards; to use the Report as a powerful marketing tool for promoting the work of the ALDP; and to work within their existing budget (previously spent on traditional printed annual reports).

Client comments: “I am just writing to thank you for the fantastic job you did on the Ana Liffey Drug Project Annual Report. It looks great, the content is fantastic and the feedback we have had from everyone we have sent it to has been universally positive – most of them are saying they are going to produce their reports digitally next year! We definitely now have a better publication, we are really pleased with the design and the implementation of the technology, and we have even improved on previous years’ budgets. Many thanks.” Tony Duffin, Director, Ana Liffey Drug Project.
